Bill Pay allows you to pay virtually anyone or any bill through Online Banking. You control who you want to pay, when you want to make the payment, and which account you want to use. For example, you can pay utilities, bills, individuals such as a landlord or babysitter, and send money to a family member. You will also be able to send gift checks and set up helpful payment reminders. We’ll even keep a record for you of 18 months of payment activity.
how bill pay works
Most payments are sent electronically, but if that’s not an option, your payment will be sent as a paper check. Payments that are made by paper checks are mailed via USPS. Generally, your payment is received within 2 to 7 days, depending on how it is sent, and Rush Delivery is available.
pay a person
This convenient feature allows you to make person-to-person payments electronically, or by check, to anyone you choose. You can Pay a Person one of three ways:
(1) Using the recipient’s email address and a secure keyword of your choosing. The recipient then logs in to a secure website using that keyword and provides the required account information. The payment is deposited electronically from your account into their account.
(2) By providing the recipient’s bank routing number and deposit account information. The payment is deposited electronically from your account into their account.
(3) Provide the recipient’s mailing address. The payment is mailed in the form of a paper check.
Sending money electronically is faster, more convenient, and more secure than sending a check, but we know that sometimes, you may want to send a check. We’ll mail your check directly to the recipient, which saves you a trip to the post office and the postage.

rush delivery
If you have a bill that’s too close for comfort to the due date, you can use the Rush Delivery option to select a guaranteed delivery of either next day or two days from the date you schedule it. If you choose an option that includes UPS tracking, you can even monitor the delivery of the payment in transaction history when you view the details. Fees will apply.
how to get started
Log in to Online Banking, and select Bill Pay. The first time you access Bill Pay you will be prompted to accept the Terms and Conditions before you can send a payment. Some Business Online Banking users will need to complete the Enrollment Form found at the bottom of this page to start using Bill Pay.
